Chocolate Caramel Brownies

  • Mix 1 chocolate cake (dry) mix
  • 3/4 c. margarine (melted)
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 12 oz pkg. of caramels
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • Chocolate chips
  • nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Put 1/2 of the mixture in a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 6 minutes. Melt a 12 oz pkg. of caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk. After melted pour over cooked cake. Top with a cup of chocolate chips and 1 c. nuts. Drop remaining batter on top and smooth out. Cook 15-18 minutes.
