Gravy

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cups water
  • milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a shaker or a cup with a lid, put a cup of flour in it and 2 cups of water. Place the lid tightly on top and shake well. Pour in pan or skillet and add milk, salt, and pepper. Cook until it thickens, stirring constantly. If it thickens too much, just add more milk and salt. If making sausage gravy and biscuits, after cooking the sausage, make the gravy in the same skillet with the cooked sausage.
