Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 cans spaghetti sauce (24 or 32 ounces)
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 1 can (24 oz.) stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • 1 pkg. mozarella cheese
  • 1 pkg. Monterey Jack cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic in 1 Tbl. of olive oil. Brown ground chuck and add tomato paste to ground chuck and onion/garlic mixture. Add spaghetti sauce, wine and sugar. Let simmer for 30 minutes. Boil lasagna noodles. Drain. Arrange in baking dish as follows: noodles, sauce, cheese, repeat until pan is full. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
