Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can pineapple chunks, drain & reserve juice.
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tblsp flour
  • 1 Tblsp white vinegar
  • 2 cups diced apples, unpeeled Granny Smiths
  • 1 1/2 cups salted peanuts, cut in half
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Mix pineapple chunks and marshmallows together. Refrigerate overnight. The next day mix pineapple juice, sugar, egg, flour & vinegar. Cook on medium heat until mixture thickens. Allow to cool. Mix together the cooked mixture, the pineapple/marshmallow mix, apples, peanuts and Cool Whip. Refrigerate until serving.
