Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 2/3 cup (5 oz can) evaporated milk
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 7 oz. jar marshmellow creme
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, margarine & milk; bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat stirring constantly (mixture scorches easily). Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add marshmellow creme, nuts & vanilla; beat until well blended. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool & cut into squares.
