Ingredients
- 1 LB. BEEF SIRLOIN, CUT INTO 2 IN. STRIPS
- GARLIC POWDER TO TASTE
- 3 TBS. VEGETABLE OIL
- 1 CUBE BEEF BOUILLON SUB BV
- 1/4 CUP HOT WATER
- 1 TAB. CORNSTARCH
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 1 LG. GREEN PEPPER, ROUGHLY CHOPPED
- 14.5 OZ. CAN STEWED TOMATOES, WITH LIQUID
- 3 TAB. SOY SAUCE
- 1 TEA. WHITE SUGAR
- 1 TEA. SALT
Preparation
Step 1
STEP ONE
SEASON SIRLOIN WITH GARLIC POWDER TO TASTE
STEP TWO
BROWN MEAT IN SKILLET; TRANSFER TO SLOW COOKER
STEP THREE
MIX BOUILLON CUBE (BV) WITH HOT WATER UNTIL DISSOLVED, THEN MIX IN CORNSTARCH UNTIL DISSOLVED.
STEP FOUR
POR INTO SLOW COOKER WITH MEAT
STEP 5
STIR IN ONION GREEN PEPPERS, STEWED TOMATOES, SOY SAUCE, SUGAR, AND SALT.
STEP 6
COVER, AND COOK ON HIGH FOR 3-4 HOURS OR ON LOW FOR 6-8 HOURS.
STEP 7
SERVE OVER RICE OR NOODLES.
