Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 stick Crisco baking sticks, butter flavor
- 2 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 6 TB milk
- 2 TB vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs. Beat just until blended. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork that has been dipped in sugar. Bake for 8 minutes or until just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling racks to cool completely.
