Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter (I use Prairie Farm)
  • 1 lb Brown Sugar (2 1/3 Cups)
  • 1 Cup Light Karo Syrup
  • 1 14 oz. Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all but vanilla in 2 qt or larger glass bowl. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir well. Microwave on high additonal 12 minutes. Add Vanilla. Let stand 10 minutes. Pour in buttered 9 x 13 pan. When cold cut and wrap in wax paper. Keep in covered container.

Freezes well.
