White Chocolate Cherry Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted buter
- 7 ounces cream cheese
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup roughly chopped maraschino cherries, well drained
- 1 (12 ounce) bag of white chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Combine cream cheese and softened butter until well blended. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. This mixture will be fairly heavy so it is best to mix by hand. Chill dough for 1 hour. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 11 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on the pan for 2 minutes and remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container or freeze up to 6 months.
