Ingredients

  • Bottom Layer:
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 16 oz. btl. Hershey syrup
  • 1 cup + 1 tbsp. flour
  • 2 nd layer
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp milk
  • 2 tsp. mint extract
  • approx. 10 drops green food coloring
  • 3 rd layer
  • 6 tbsp. margarine
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1st layer:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Then add syrup and flour. Beat together. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Cool.

2nd Layer:

Spread over cooled bottom layer. May freeze 1/2 hr. but not really necessary.

3rd Layer:

Melt over low heat or microwave and drizzle over top of frosting. Cut into squares.
