Christmas Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c. oleo
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 3 eggs
• 3 1/2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix in order given–butter, vanilla, and sugar. Cream thoroughly–add eggs, one at a time, add remaining ingredients. Chill dough thoroughly–3 to 4 hours. Roll out on floured surface. Cut in desired shapes. Bake 350 degrees 6 to 8 minutes. Makes 8 dozen cookies. Frost and decorate.
