Apple/Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tb. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup soft butter

Preparation

Step 1

6 cups thinly sliced apples

Combine:
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tb. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt

Toss mixture and apples. Put into pie crust shell.

Combine:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup soft butter

Sprinkle over apples. Cut a circle out of foil so that edge of crust is covered but not apples and topping. Bake at 375 for 26 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes. Sprinkle top with pecans. Drizzle with caramel ice cream topping.
