Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 8 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 cups whipping cream
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tb. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Nutmeg
- 2 loafs of French bread, sliced 1” thick
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tb. Light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter, soft
- Some shopped pecans, optional
Preparation
Step 1
Dip each slice and place in a 9x13 greased pan. Put in refrigerator overnight. The next morning, spoon the frosting over the top of the casserole and spread like frosting. Bake and serve with hot maple syrup.
