Creamy Buttermilk Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 1 bag coleslaw or 1 medium head green cabbage shredded or chopped fine
  • 1 large carrots shredded (only if not in bagged coleslaw
  • 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. mayonaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 8 scallions, chopped fine
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together dressing ingredients. Add to cabbage. Refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes. Add salt and more pepper if needed. Will become watery if made more than 1 hour before serving.
