Scalloped Potatoes

  • 4

    cups thinkly sliced potatoes (about 6 to 8 medium potatoes)

  • 2

    tablespoons flour

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • tsp pepper

  • 3

    tbls butter

  • 2

    cups milk

  • ½

    cup shredded cheddar cheese


Set oven to 375 and butter a 2 quart baking dish. Layer 1/3 of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Sprinkle about half the mixture over the potaotes and repeat the layers. Dot with butter and pour milk over potatoes. Bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and sprink with cheese. Return to oven and bake for additional 15 minutes.
