Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup diced cooked chicken
- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 1 cup milk
- 1/8 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 2 Tb. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté celery and onion in butter. Combine chicken, 2 Tb. cheese and sautéed celery and onion. Separate dough into 8 triangles and place a dab of mixture in each roll. Roll up. Combine soup, milk and 1/4 cup cheese, and heat until cheese melts. Pour into 8 inch square pan and arrange filled croissants over hot soup mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese over rolls and bake 5 minutes more. Serve each roll with generous amount of soup mixture.
