Ingredients
- 2 qts- whole-kernal corn (fresh or frozen)
- 1 pt- sweet red pepper
- 1 pt- sweet green pepper
- 1 qt- celery, choppped
- 1 cup- onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup- sugar
- 1 qt- vinegar
- 2 tsp- celery seed
- 1 tbsp- dry mustard
- 1 tsp- turmeric

Preparation
Step 1
If corn is fresh, cook for 5 minutes. If frozen, defrost. Combine diced peppers, celery, onions, sugar, vinegar, salt, and celery seed in a heavy pan. Cover and het until mixture starts to boil. Boil, uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix mustard and turmeric, then blend with a small amount of boiling liquid. Add the mixture witht he precooked corn to the boiling mixture. Return to boiling and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pack and process in boiling water bath for canning or may be stored in jars in the refrigerator.
