Pineapple Cassarole

  • 6 pieces slightly stale white bread, decrusted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 large can of crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 3 beaten eggs

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 325F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish with butter or pam.

De-crust the bread and cut into cubes. Set aside.

Mix all other ingredients in a mixer or by hand one at a time. Ex. sugar and flour then stir. Then butter and stir, then eggs one at a time and stir. ADD PINEAPPLE LAST.

Gently fold in the bread cubes and pour into the baking dish. Use a spatula to even it all out.

Bake at 325 for an hour and serve slightly warm or room temperature.
