Zonnie's Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 3 med. or 2 large bananas, mashed
• 2 eggs
• 3 Tbsp. buttermilk
• 2 cups self rising flour
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar & salt.........
Add remaining ingredients & mix well......
Pour into a greased loaf pan * bake @ 350
degrees for 50-60 minutes or until done......
or ~
makes 3 small loaves ( about 45 minutes )...
or~
makes 18 muffins ( about 30 minutes)......
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup Crisco
1/2 cup crushed pecans
3 eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 cups carrots
1 tsp vanilla

Mix ingredients well then~ Pour into 8 inch
cake pans which have been coated with
non~stick cooking spray........
for 3 layers bake each layer in 325 degree
oven for 20~25 minutes or until done............
1 stick margarine
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb 10X/powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
