Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- salt & pepper
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- Pinch of saffron
- 4 pears peeled and chopped
- 2 apples peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup golden raisin
- 1 orange -Zest and Juice
- 2 Tomatoes, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions in olive oil until translucent. Add spices. Cook additional minute.Season with Salt and pepper. Stir in Brown Sugar until disolved. Add vinegar. Bring to boil. Add pears, Apples, golden raisins and saffron, orange zest and juice. Boil 15 minutes until thickened. Add tomatoes. Cook additional 2 minutes. Place in sterilized jars.
