  • 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons flour.
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 cups milk.
  • 8 ounces cubed Velveeta cheese

Step 1

Cook 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni in saucepan.

Melt 3 Tablespoons butter and 2 Tablespoons flour. Mix well and add dash of pepper. Add 2 cups milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly (about 10 minutes). (Mrs. Turnwald doesn’t wait when she makes this). Add 8 ounces cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir until melted. Drain macaroni and add cheese. Bake 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
