Ingredients
- 1/3 c. butter or more
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed or more
- 6 med. size sweet potatoes or yams, cooked-boil whole for about 10 minutes until soft, peeled and sliced
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 pinches cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a heavy frying pan or skillet, heat together butter and brown sugar until melted and blended. Add the sliced sweet potatoes and turn until coated in syrup and brown. Add salt, water and cinnamon. Cover and cook slowly until potatoes are tender.
