Christmas Waffles

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 2 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 2 cups flour
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 tblsp vanilla
• 1 cup sour cream
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 cup melted butter
• 2 tblsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat yolks until light, blend in milk, melted butter&sour cream. Stir just until large lumps disappear.

In separate bowl, combine&sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda&sugar. Add to the liquid mixture, beat well. Beat egg whites and fold into the batter.

Heat waffle iron, coating or spraying with butter for 2:45 each. Makes 5 waffles.
