Mom’s Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sifted whole wheat flour
  • 5 c. sifted white flour

Preparation

Step 1



Dissolve the yeast in the ¼ cup water. Mix all together. Cook at 350º convection for 30 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
