Bailey's Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C shipping cream
  • 1/4 C butter
  • 3 T sugar
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 C Baileys
  • Coatings: chocolate wafer crumbs, grated chocolate, finely chopped nuts. sprinkles, cocoa, icing sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cream, butter and sugar in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat. Add chocolate, stirring until completely melted. Stir in Baileys. chill mixture until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.

Drop mixture into the coatings of your choice. Shape into balls and roll in coatings to cover thoroughly. Chill. Stor in airtight container in refrigerator.
