Ingredients
- Beef for stewing
- 2 qts. Water
- 1 TBSP dry onion
- salt and pepper
- 2 – 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- celery
- 1 can diced tomatoes, blended
- carrots, cut into stew size pieces
- potatoes, cut into stew size pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the meat in a little bit of oil. Add all remaining ingredients except for the carrots and potatoes. Bring to a boil and then simmer for a while. About twenty minutes before serving add the potatoes and carrots and cook until fork tender.
