Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
- 2 quarts Fresh Strawberries
- 1 3/4 package powdered Pectin
- 1/2 Tsp Butter
- 7 cups Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1) Sterilize jars by boiling for 5 minutes and let cool.
2) Crush strawberries until there is 5 cups of crushed Strawberries.
3) Stir in Pectin and Butter.
4) Heat on high until mixture comes to a roiling boil.
5) Add Sugar all at once and return to a boil for 1 minute.
6) Remove from heat and skim off foam.
7) Ladle at once into sterilized canning jars leaving a 1/4 inch space on top.
8) Wipe jar rims and put tops on.
