1 cup chopped pecans

Preat oven to 325 deg. grease and flour 10 inch bunt pan sprinkle pecans over bottom of pan .

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz instant vanila pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup dark rum

Preparation

Step 1

Combine above ingredients and mix well and pour over pecans .
Bake for 60 minutes or until done , let set for 10 minutes and turn out onto serving plate ,
and brush with glaze .

Glaze

2 sticks butter
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar

Combine in saucepan above ingredients , over med. heat bring to boil for 5 minutes , remove from heat and add
1/2 cup dark rum
