HOT COCOA MARSHMALLOW CUPCAKES

Ingredients

  • 1 box devils food cake mix
  • 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups Kraft marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare cake mix according to directions on box for cupcakes. Bake and cool completely.

Meanwhile, place 1 cup marshmallows, the chopped chocolate and the milk, in a large saucepan; cook on low heat until melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly. Cool at least 30 minutes and stir in Cool Whip gently.

Frost cupcakes with the Cool Whip mixture and top with remaining marshmallows and dust with cocoa powder.

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
