Ingredients

• In a pan mix:
• 2 c. flour
• 1 c. salt
• 4 tsp. cream of tartar
• Add and stir in:
• 2 c. water
• 2 TBSP shortening
• Food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Cook together over medium heat until very thick and clings together in a ball away from sides of pan. Let cool until handled. Knead until smooth. Store in plastic container.
