Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 [18 ounce] package butter recipe Golden cake mix
  • 1 [3-3/4 ounce ] package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup light rum
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Put pecans in bottom of greased and floured bundt pan .Mix all remaining ingredients and beat 2 minutes . Pour over pecans . Bake for 50-60 minutes at 325 deg. Remove from oven and pour hot sauce over cake . Cool in pan 30 minutes.
Sauce

1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 cup rum
1/4 cup watter

Put in sauce pan . Bring to boil . Boil 2-3 minutes . serve warm cake with whipped cream . Makes 1 bundt or 2 loaf pans .
