Ingredients
- 1 c. Butter
- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. All purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Sesame seeds
- 1/2 c. Ground pecans or almonds
- 2 oz Semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 tsp. Shortening
Preparation
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter on high for 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla, beat until combined. Beat in flour then add sesame seeds, and pecans/almonds.
Divide dough in half, if too sticky wrap each half in waxed paper and chill 1 hour.
On a lightly floured surface, roll to 1/8th inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 mins. (lightly browned).
Chocolate drizzle:
In a saucepan heat chocolate and shortening over low heat until melted. Drizzle over cookies, let set.
