Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1-cup onions, chopped
- 3 teaspoons black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large can tomato puree
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 – 8 oz. can tomato paste or ketchup
- 3 or 4 cans kidney beans (I use 3 normally)
Preparation
Step 1
Brown onions in oil in a Dutch oven. Once onions are translucent, add hamburger. When hamburger is brown add rest of ingredients and let cook on lower heat for an hour.
