Fritter Batter

Good for chopped shrimp or ham, clams, cubed lunch meat, corn, shopped apples, bananas, or pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. all purpose flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 t. salad oil

Preparation

Step 1

Stir 1 cup suggested food into fritter batter and mix well. Drop by level tablespoons into hot fat and fry 5 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Drain.
