Ingredients
- 1 cup (two sticks) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 cups slivered almonds (6 oz.)optional
- 1 cup cranberries
Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer on medium until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and extract; beat until well blended. Mix flour,baking soda and salt. Gradually beat in to butter mixture until well mixed. Stir in chocolate and almonds and cranberries. Drop by heaping tablespoons one-inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in 375°F oven 10 min. or until edges are lightly browned remove from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes 72 cookies
