Ingredients
- 3 lg eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tblsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3-4 cups flour (rounded)
- 1/2 teasp salt
- 2 teasp baking powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for dusting)
- oil for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oil medium to high.
Beat all ingredients, except powdered sugar, until smooth. Batter should be thin. Pour into a funnel
holding finger over funnel opening. Hold over hot oil and remove finger to let batter flow. Move funnel
around in a circular motion to make cake.
Let brown then turn to brown on other side.
Remove to a plate covered with a paper towel to drain.
Serve dusted with powdered sugar or caramel and walnuts.
