Fried Crab Rangoon

You can make these your own by adding green onions, cilantro, anything you can think up.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 cup Imitation Crab meat (chopped)
  • 1 pkg Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar
  • Oil for frying
  • Small cup of water

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together cream cheese & sugar. Add crab meat, mix well.

Place wonton wrappers out on wax paper to fill.

Fill each wonton with approximately 1 tblsp of filling.

Dip finger in water & run along the edge of won-ton.

Fold wonton over into a triangle and press gently to seal.

After filling all wontons, preheat oil in skillet to medium-high heat.

Drop rangoon 1 at a time to oil.

Let cook approximately 1 minute or until light golden brown. Turn & finish cooking.

Drain on paper towel.

Let sit about 5 minutes before eating.
