Ingredients

  • BOTTOM LAYER
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 5 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 egg,beaten
  • 1 3/4 c graham wafer crumbs
  • 1 c coconut
  • SECOND LAYER
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 Tbsp and 2 tsp cream
  • 2 Tbsp Birds Eye Custard
  • 2 icing sugar
  • THIRD LAYER
  • 4 squares semi sweet chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

BOTTOM LAYER
Melt first 3 ingredients in top of a double boiler
Add egg and stir to cook and thicken
Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients
Press firmly into an ungreased 8x8 pan
SECOND LAYER
Cream all together and beat until light
Spread over bottom layer
THIRD LAYER
Melt chocolate abd btter over low heat
Whe n cool but still liquid pour over second layer and chill in frig
