Ingredients

  • 12 slices Thick Sliced bacon
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cans (15 oz) cream-style corn
  • 1 bag Frozen Whole kernel corn

Preparation

Step 1

. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Cut bacon into half-inch pieces and prepare according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

3. Sauté onions and green peppers in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in flour and salt.

4. Mix in sour cream, corn and half of the bacon.

5. Pour mixture into lightly oiled 9"x13" casserole dish. Top with remaining bacon and bake uncovered 45 minutes.

Tip: For a family sized casserole, just cut the reicpe in half and put into a 9"x 9" baking dish.
