Caramel Popcorn II

Cathy's recipe.

Ingredients

  • 7 1/2 quarts popped popcorn
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup karo syrup
  • 1 teasp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teasp baking soda
  • 1 cup peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

Boil sugar, karo, salt & butter for 5 minutes.

Add nuts, then soda.

Pour over popcorn.

Spread on sprayed 15" jelly roll pan.

Bake @200 degrees for 30 minutes, turning every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven & stir until cool
