Noodles & Cabbage

Child-hood favorite of Jennie that her mom Jean made especially for her.

Ingredients

  • 1 regular size Head of Cabbage ~ chopped into strips
  • 1 bag of Extra Wide Noodles ~ cooked
  • Cooked Bacon (1 pkg) &/or Ham ~ chopped into bite size pieces (I like the combination, mom used bacon)
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1 small Onion ~ chopped
  • Seasoning (I use McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak or Chef's Shake)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in large skillet; add onion, saute until begins to get tender; add chopped Cabbage and seasoning, saute until tender. When Cabbage has reduced size, add meat; continue cooking until very limp. Add cooked noodles; continue to saute until it begins to brown.
