Ingredients
- 8 Pork Chops
- 5 large Potatoes (peeled and washed)
- 1 bunch Carrots (peeled)
- 1 large Onion
- 2 cups Hot water
- 1 glass Cold water
- 2 tblsp Corn starch
Preparation
Step 1
In a large baking pan. Cut potatoes in quarter wedges, place in pan.
Cut carrots up in 4-6 chunks each, spread over potatoes.
Add 2 cups water to pan.
In skillet, brown pork chops, but do not cook thru.
Place browned pork chops on top of carrots.
Slice onion & place on top of pork chops.
Pour pan drippings over onions.
Cover it all with foil and place in oven to bake for 1 hour.
When potatoes and carrots are tender, drain liquid out of pan into a medium saucepan to make gravy.
Bring liquid to a boil. Place 2 tblsp of cornstarch in a glass of cold water & mix. Pour into boiling pan while you are whisking.
