Slow-Cooked Turkey Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground turkey
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 4 cans (14.5oz.) stewed tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 can (160z.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tblsp. chili power
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pint of sliced mushrooms
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a skillet brown turkey chop meat. Add to crockpot. Add remaining nine ingredients end with mushrooms on top.
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Serve in individual bowls and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
