Onion Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions (peeled & sliced)
  • 2 tblsp butter (melted)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teasp soy sauce
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 loaf french bread
  • 2 tblsp butter (melted)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt 2 tblsp butter in a large skillet & saute sliced onions until tender.

Spoon into casserole dish.

Combine soup, milk & soy sauce mixing well.

Pour mixture over onions & sprinkle with cheese.

Cut bread into 3/4 inch slices and arrange on top of casserole.

Brush bread with remaining 2 tblsp of melted butter.

Bake @350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
