Chili Rellano Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 4 lg eggs
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 27 oz can whole green chillies
  • 1 lb monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese grated

Preparation

Step 1

Clean and split green chilies, drain on paper towel. Grate cheese and mix together.

Saving one cup of cheese for garnish. Beat milk, egg & flour until smooth. In a large

9"X13" baking dish. Layer chilies, cheese and egg mixture. Approximately two layers.

Pour tomato sauce over top. Sprinkle remaining cheese.

Bake @ 375 degrees for 1 hour, or until center is bubbly.
