Fresh Apple Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 lg eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teasp baking soda
  • 1/2 teasp salt
  • 1/2 teasp ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups apples (peeled, cored & chopped)
  • 1 cup walnuts (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 degrees; spray 9" X13" baking pan.

In a large bowl, beat sugar, oil & eggs together.

Add dry ingredients.

Fold in apples & walnuts.

Pour into spray pan & bake @350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Cool in pan & cut into squares; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
