Pumpkin Bread in a Jar

Ingredients

  • 1 lg can pumpkin mix
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 lg eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 teasp soda
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tblsp baking powder
  • 1 tblsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift baking powder and soda together.

Cream butter and sugar together.

Beat eggs and add to butter/sugar mixture.

Gradually stir in flour 1 cup at a time.

Add pumpkin & vanilla.

Place sterilized pint jars in a baking dish.

Fill pint jars 1/2 full.

Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Place lids & rings on the jars as soon as you take them out of the oven to seal.
