Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
Add first three ingredients. Mix well. Add coconut, oatmeal and then flour mixed with salt, baking soda and baking powder. Roll in small balls. Press down with fork. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
