Summer Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Brioche Bread, Hawaiian Bread or Pound Cake
  • 1 pkg frozen strawberries (thawed with juice)
  • 1 pkg frozen blueberries (thawed with juice)
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 small whip cream

Preparation

Step 1

Make rounds of bread or cake to fit individual ramikins; set aside.

Stew berries, sugar & water together; cook 5-10 minutes. (add uncooked strawberries for texture)

In ramikins, ladle berries then a round of bread or cake; Repeat.

Weight down & chill for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.

Serve with whip cream.
