Ingredients
- 4 cups jalapeno peppers
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups white distilled vinegar
- 4 pints jars (sterilized with lids & rims)
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare jars & lids; make sure jars are still warm.
Combine water & vinegar in a saucepan and heat to boiling.
Cut stems from jalapeno's & wash peppers
With a small knife, cut a small slit in each pepper in order for it to get the vinegar mixture inside.
Pack jars with tops up into your jars; shake the jar or thump it on the counter to help the peppers settle.
Pour hot vinegar mixture into each jar about 1/4 inch from top of jar.
Clean the rim of each jar with a wet paper towel & place warm lid on top, screw on rims.
Process jars in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes; Remove jars onto a towel on the counter.
Jars will seal as they cool.
